Job summary

Raymarine, a world‑leading marine electronics company, seeks a Compliance Manager to lead product compliance and certification across its portfolio of navigation, wireless and radar products. You will coordinate with engineering, supply chain and product teams across Europe, Asia and North America to ensure market access worldwide.

You will influence product development from concept to global launch, represent the business in international standards bodies, and manage global approvals, testing

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a product compliance, regulatory or certification role.
• Strong knowledge of marine electronics, radio communications, EMC and product safety standards.
• Experience with international approval requirements including CE, UKCA, FCC, ISED Canada, RCM, MIC, KC and other global market access schemes.
• Knowledge of maritime navigation systems, VHF communications, radar, AIS and wireless technologies.
• Experience managing compliance projects, certification programmes and approval submissions.
• Excellent technical documentation, record-keeping and reporting skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on product compliance, regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Interpret legislation, directives and standards to support new and existing product development.
• Manage global product approvals and certification activities.
• Review and approve compliance test reports and technical documentation.
• Create and maintain Technical Construction Files and Declarations of Conformity.
• Liaise with external test laboratories, notified bodies and certification agencies.
• Support customer, sales and product support compliance enquiries.
• Represent the company on national and international standards committees.
• Act as the FCC and ISED Canada company signatory.
• Monitor regulatory changes and ensure ongoing compliance across global markets.
• Carry out the role in accordance with all relevant legislation and following Raymarine’s policies and processes (including but not limited to those relating to ethics, compliance, cyber security, product development, labour and human rights, and the environment.)
• Undertake all mandatory training as requested_._
