Job summary

Tenzing Search is working with a growth-stage fintech launching a regulated virtual card service. We seek a compliance leader to own regulatory, compliance and risk for the card programme across the UK and EU, reporting to the Head of Payments & Banking.

This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role at first, building a scalable framework that unlocks commercial growth. You will design and implement end-to-end compliance, manage relationships with BIN sponsors, processors and card schemes, and

Qualifications

• 6-10+ years in compliance, regulatory affairs or financial crime within financial services, fintech or payments
• Deep working knowledge of UK FCA regulation and EEA e-money / payment institution frameworks
• Hands-on AML, KYB and CFT experience in a payments or card issuance context
• Experience building compliance frameworks from scratch in a start-up or scale-up
• Experience managing multi-party obligations with third-party regulated entities

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end compliance framework for the card programme across markets
• Regulatory relationship with BIN sponsor, issuer processor and card scheme
• Lead AML, KYB and CFT controls across onboarding and operations
• Develop policies, procedures and controls across onboarding to card operations
• Licence and registration workstreams in new markets with external counsel
• Maintain compliance risk register, escalation framework and incident response
• Regulatory reporting and responses to authorities
