Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Principal Architect to own end-to-end architecture of hosting and cloud platforms across Public and Private Cloud.

You will define standardized hosting models, govern security and risk controls, and partner with product, engineering, and platform teams to translate business strategy into actionable technical roadmaps. You will lead with technical excellence, mentor teams, and drive innovation while ensuring regulatory alignment and governance across multiple

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on architecture concepts and advanced applied experience.
• Extensive hands-on software and systems architecture experience at a senior level.
• Expertise in hosting and datacentre architecture across Public and Private Cloud.
• Proven ability to design scalable, secure hosting platforms and embed guidance into workflows.
• Experience with Risk & Trust capabilities and architecture governance.

Responsibilities

• Architect standardized hosting models, stacks, and reusable patterns.
• Govern datacentre hosting patterns and enforce security controls and risk capabilities.
• Drive multi-cloud portability strategy across core platform capabilities.
• Provide hands-on design work and architecture governance across programs.
• Lead senior technical teams and mentor engineers.
• Design scalable, secure, cost-effective enterprise hosting platforms.
• Integrate AI capabilities within architecture and engineering workflows.
• Use architecture-as-code frameworks such as FINOS CALM.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and platform teams to translate strategy into roadmaps.
