Job summary

HarperCollins UK is seeking an International Sales Executive to support HCCB and Farshore. The role sits in London with hybrid working and a 12-month fixed-term contract, reporting to the Sales leadership team.

The candidate should bring junior account management experience, strong organisation and relationship skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and internal systems. A customer-focused, proactive problem-solver with excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Junior level account management experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail with data, pricing, orders.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Confident with new systems including Microsoft Office and internal sales/production systems.
• Strong relationship-building and collaborative approach to working with colleagues, customers and partners.
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication.
• Calm, reliable and able to work quickly and accurately under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Support the Sales Director, Head of Sales and Senior Key Account Manager across both divisions (HCCB and Farshore).
• Primary contact for day-to-day queries – information, covers, PDFs, manuscripts, sales info requests.
• Send cost requests to Production and collate, process and track all confirmed orders.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service.
• Coordinate between Marketing & Publicity and customers to deliver successful global campaigns.
