Job Purpose
As we continue to expand our market share in the rapidly emerging Employee Experience platform category, we are looking for a Global Business Development Manager.
The Role
- Drive scale, innovation and repeatability in best‑in‑class lead generation
- Lead, coach and mentor a global team of Sales and Business Development Representatives to engage potential prospects through phone, email, and social channels
- Partner with Sales leadership to develop and maintain active engagement strategies, creating awareness and education through strategic follow‑ups in partnership with the Account Executive (AE)
- Partner with marketing to support messaging, initiatives, campaigns and events
- Create a strong operational cadence to drive team performance and ensure we meet and exceed our quotas and KPIs
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a sales or sales development capacity within a software or technology environment
- Strong leadership and mentorship capability including the ability to influence and inspire the team
- Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbally
- Familiar with sales engagement, enrichment and intelligence tools for prospecting
- Familiar with CRM
- Quick learner and team player with experience working in close collaboration with Sales, Marketing and the broader GTM organization
- Determined, able to overcome objections and not afraid of rejection
- Desire to progress a career in sales
- Effective time management to complete objectives
- Experience of exceeding results and other KPIs
- Ability to thrive in a high energy team environment
- Willingness to work from the office a minimum of 3 days per week
- Some international travel expected
