Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking an experienced BI Developer to join our team and help shape the future of global commerce. You will develop value-adding Power BI reports and collaborate with leaders to measure performance for growth, with a hybrid work model and offices in Stockport and Leicester.

The role emphasizes data cleansing, data warehouse alignment, and delivering commercial insights from cleansed data sets, supporting cross-functional teams in a regulated corporate environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI or other analytics tools and data visualization.
• 4+ years in a BI/data role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and matrix organization skills.
• Proficient in T-SQL.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Data Analytics or related field.
• Experience in regulated corporate environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing service desk support, addressing user inquiries and resolving issues related to BI tools and reports.
• Designing, developing and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborating with key stakeholders and business leaders to gather reporting requirements and ensure alignment with business needs.
• Independently writing and optimising T-SQL queries with a passion for self development, enlisting guidance and support from senior team members.
• Maintain documentation related to report specifications, processes, and user guides.
• Participating in team meetings, sharing insights and learning and taking an active role in the overall team priorities and responsibilities.
