As Global Air Logistics Manager – OKAM (Aerospace Industry), you will serve as the strategic interface between our aerospace customers and internal operations worldwide. You will lead operational key account management (OKAM) within our air logistics organization, ensuring that aerospace logistics solutions meet performance expectations, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.

You will drive customer success through tailored operational solutions, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and align global operations to aerospace industry demands.

How you create impact

• Manage and develop strong relationships with assigned global aerospace key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and consistent operational performance.
• Ensure adherence to the Global OKAM framework, standards, and processes while aligning them with the specific requirements of aerospace logistics.
• Collaborate with regional and national OKAMs as well as operational teams to ensure seamless execution of aerospace customer requirements, including time-critical and high-value components.
• Monitor account performance and proactively address any service challenges or process deviations, with particular focus on aerospace compliance and precision.
• Identify opportunities for optimisation, growth, and process improvement within assigned aerospace accounts.
• Support the integration and alignment between Air and Sea Logistics (where applicable) to deliver reliable, end-to-end solutions for aerospace supply chains.
• Act as the central point of contact for assigned aerospace customers, ensuring transparency, consistency, and proactive communication across all global operations.
• Facilitate alignment between global teams to respond effectively to critical aerospace events such as AOG situations and urgent component movements.

What we would like you to bring

• Several years of experience within Kuehne + Nagel (2–5 years) and strong exposure to customer collaboration.
• Solid background in logistics, with expertise in Air and / or Sea Logistics.
• Proven experience in Key Account Management, ideally with large or global accounts.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a focus on process improvement and operational excellence.
• Industry knowledge in Aerospace is an must.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with cross‑functional collaboration ability.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, and willingness to travel as required.
