Job summary

Acron Aviation Academy is seeking a proactive Aftermarket Bid Manager to own global aftermarket opportunities for simulator upgrades, modifications and in‑service support. You will lead the bid lifecycle, translate complex customer needs into deliverable, costed proposals and collaborate with Sales, Engineering and Finance to deliver competitive, compliant solutions.

You will liaise with customers worldwide, manage risks, and drive governance approvals through an end-to-end bid process.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in bid management, capture management or complex commercial roles.
• Strong technical background with hardware/software systems in simulation/aerospace.
• Ability to translate requirements into deliverable, costed solutions.
• Experience leading global, cross-functional bid teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead global aftermarket opportunities from qualification through proposal, negotiation, contract award and handover.
• Translate customer requirements into clear, technically deliverable and commercially competitive solutions.
• Coordinate cross-functional inputs across Sales, Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Programme Management, Supply Chain, Finance and Commercial.
• Define robust scopes of work, including deliverables, assumptions, exclusions, dependencies, acceptance criteria and responsibilities.
• Develop accurate cost estimates, schedules, pricing and customer-focused proposals.
• Identify and manage technical, commercial and delivery risks.
• Lead bid reviews, governance approvals, clarifications and contract negotiations.
• Ensure structured handover of scope and risks to delivery team.
• Strengthen bid performance through reusable content and lessons learned.
