Job summary

Deel in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced accounting professional to join our Finance team. You will contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, ensure regulatory compliance, and help shape policies across locations.

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you’ll collaborate with external auditors and cross-functional teams to sustain accurate financial reporting. The role emphasizes attention to detail, Big 4 experience preferred, and experience with Netsuite and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant or CPA with 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably with audit exposure.
• Big 4 experience from high-tech departments is an advantage.
• Well-organized with the ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to detail.
• Proficiency with systems and MS Office; Netsuite experience is an advantage.
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Take part in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
• Assist with improving, developing, documenting, and implementing accounting and finance policies to support scale.
• Manage and comply with government reporting requirements, statutory financial statements and tax filings.
• Support internal reports and reconciliations; participate in ad-hoc projects.
• Work with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
