London
Glencore is one of the world’s largest global diversified natural resource companies, and a major producer and marketer of more than 60 commodities that advance everyday life. Through a network of assets, customers and suppliers that spans the globe, we produce, process, recycle, source, market and distribute the commodities that support decarbonisation while meeting the energy needs of today.
With over 150,000 employees and contractors and a strong footprint in over 35 countries in both established and emerging regions for natural resources, our marketing and industrial activities are supported by a global network of more than 50 offices.
Designed to accelerate your career in the commodities trading, technology, engineering, or environmental science spheres, this 12-month programme gives talented undergraduates exposure to the world‑class people and careers on offer at Glencore.

Our trading analysts work directly with our traders to evaluate fundamental global market supply and demand using mathematical and programming techniques. They work closely with traders, shipping, and IT, developing tools in order to deliver value to the business.
Forecasting market trends and strategic global thinking are important skills in this role – a good analyst will proactively form an independent view of the market and present clear and concise data to support this opinion. Working alongside the team, the data‑driven insights you develop will be used to add value and inspire commercial strategy within the trading teams.
We are looking for driven, talented undergraduate students who are interested in an exciting, challenging career in the commodities sector.
Working at Glencore requires commercial awareness, adaptability and resilience – and you will need to thrive in team environments as well as take initiative independently.
We look for disciplined people who can demonstrate entrepreneurial ability, thrive on logistical challenges and can provide practical solutions to complex problems using their numerical capabilities.
