Job summary

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust seeks an enthusiastic ophthalmologist to develop advanced glaucoma skills within a leading team across North West London. You will join a dedicated glaucoma service offering outpatient clinics, laser procedures, MIGS and cataract surgery in glaucoma patients, with multidisciplinary collaboration and teaching responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Qualified ophthalmologist with a focus on glaucoma management and training in advanced procedures.
• Evidence of involvement in glaucoma clinics and surgical exposure in a tertiary setting.
• Commitment to teaching and multidisciplinary care.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient glaucoma care and involvement in ad hoc emergencies and off-site advice.
• Participation in A&E sessions at the Western Eye Hospital as part of duties.
• Communication with GPs, optometrists and hospital staff; teaching of students and junior doctors.
• Support clinical service development and participate in research activities.
