Job Title: Glass Project Manager Location: Hillside, IL Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of multiple commercial glazing projects
  • Oversee design, shop drawing submittals and approvals, procurement, and installation
  • Lead teams in planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution
  • Coordinate fieldwork and collaborate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Identify and resolve job site challenges and technical issues
  • Track project milestones, manage risks, and ensure quality standards are met
  • Provide clear status reporting and proactive communication to all stakeholders
  • Establish best practices and contribute to continuous process improvement
Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in contract commercial glazing
  • In-depth knowledge of curtain wall, storefront, interior glazing, herculite doors, heavy glass doors, and sidelites
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); Bluebeam experience
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Organized, deadline-focused, and detail-oriented
  • Must pass a 7-year criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening (Applicants on probation, parole, or in diversion programs cannot be considered)
  • Experience in estimating, bidding, and negotiating glazing contracts
  • Familiarity with CAD, Revit, Advance Steel, and/or Tekla
  • Experience with vendor management and project financial tracking
