Job summary

Thales Group is hiring a Production Manager in Glasgow to lead a manufacturing cell and drive operational excellence. You will own day-to-day production activities, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure safety, quality, and performance targets are met.

The role emphasises Lean methods, continuous improvement, and people development, with responsibilities spanning planning, coaching, and process optimisation in a high-performing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in manufacturing or production.
• Strong understanding of HSE, quality standards, and KPIs.
• Passion for continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver work schedules aligned to the Master Production Schedule and customer requirements.
• Monitor daily performance and drive improvements using KPIs.
• Promote Lean principles and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Lead and develop the team, supporting recruitment and onboarding.
