Qualifications

• Undergraduate student on track for a 2.1 honours degree.
• Interest in building a career in risk management, compliance or financial crimes.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication.
• Analytical, detail-oriented with problem-solving ability and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze regulations, rules and non-financial risk developments.
• Assist with responding to non-financial risk inquiries.
• Conduct monitoring of transactions and employee activities.
• Participate in risk assessments and analysis of the firm's compliance environment.
• Analyze operational risk incidents to identify themes and patterns.
• Draft and coordinate regulatory updates and compliance bulletins.
• Review and respond to AML, sanctions, or anti-bribery/corruption inquiries.
• Assess financial crime risks of clients and activities.
• Provide input to financial crimes investigations.
• Analyze, research and present on a non-financial risk group project.
