Job summary

Laing O'Rourke is seeking a GIS Digital Engineer to support geospatial strategies and automated workflows across the National Grid Great Grid Partnership. The role will enhance data accessibility, improve project coordination and enable informed decision-making across design, engineering and construction teams.

You will work with Esri ArcGIS Pro/Online, automate workflows with FME Form and contribute to 3D visualisations, dashboards and field data capture using Survey123 and Field Maps.

Qualifications

• Experience with Esri ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online, including dashboards and 3D visuals.
• Proficiency in developing and automating geospatial workflows with FME Form.
• Understanding of geospatial data management, quality and standards.

Responsibilities

• Support geospatial strategies, standards and governance across the programme.
• Design, configure and maintain GIS apps, dashboards, web maps and 3D visualisations using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
• Manage and integrate geospatial datasets from CAD, survey, BIM and asset sources.
• Develop and automate data processing workflows using FME Form.
• Enable field data capture and mobile workflows with Survey123 and Field Maps.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, construction and client teams to deliver geospatial solutions.
• Produce high-quality maps, visualisations and outputs for planning, reporting and delivery.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and automation across geospatial workflows.
