Job description

We're seeking a talented Senior GIS Application Engineer to join our Technology Development team and play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our ArcGIS platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver impactful geospatial solutions that support our entire organization.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain ESRI-based GIS infrastructure (ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS).
  • Maintain GIS platform security and performance through proactive patching, certificate management, and routine maintenance.
  • Design, develop, and maintain custom GIS applications and automation tools.
  • Perform regular GIS data and service maintenance.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues to ensure GIS system reliability and performance.
  • Research emerging technologies and provide accurate effort estimates.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience installing, configuring and maintaining ArcGIS Enterprise platforms.
  • Strong Python development skills (OOP, TDD).
  • Proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS Pro 3.x.
  • Database development experience (Oracle PL/SQL or MS SQL T-SQL).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Git).
  • Experience working in agile teams (Kanban or Scrum).
Desirable
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
  • Web development skills (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, ESRI frameworks).
  • Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1+).
  • PowerShell scripting experience.
