Job summary

York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a GI Clinical Nurse Specialist to join the GI Cancer team in York on a fixed-term secondment to 31 March 2027. The role involves delivering holistic patient care, expert clinical advice, and care coordination across the GI cancer pathway.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to develop skills, promote education, and support patients and families through complex decision-making, follow-up and survivorship care.

Qualifications

• Experienced nurse with GI cancer experience and specialist skills.
• Ability to coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to provide expert clinical advice and education.
