Following this initial period, the position will transition into a more actuarially focused role, providing the opportunity to further develop your technical expertise and broaden your actuarial skillset.

Key Skills & Experience
  • Build automated models, pipelines, and dashboards in Python and SQL.
  • Analyse data to inform underwriting decisions across property, casualty, and fleet motor.
  • Collaborate with underwriting, actuarial, and data teams within an international context.
  • Develop maintainable and reusable analytical tools aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • The client offers a hybrid working model, typically requiring employees to be in the central Manchester office three days per week.

  • Demonstrable experience using Python and SQL, with the ability to showcase end-to-end project delivery.
  • The client is open to considering both recent graduates and candidates with prior non-life actuarial experience across any line of business.
  • A strong interest in pursuing actuarial qualifications while continuing to develop data and analytics skills.
