Job summary

LevelBlue is seeking a Senior/Principal Security Detection & Response Analyst and EU SOC Team Lead to join our Global Security Operations team in the UK. This hands-on role combines advanced security investigations with team leadership and customer-facing responsibilities.

You will operate at Tier 2/3 levels, mentor analysts, coordinate incidents, and work across European clients within a follow-the-sun model. Fluency in English and German is required, with French a plus.

Qualifications

• Significant SOC, MDR or incident response experience.
• Hands-on security investigation and incident-response skills.
• Experience in two or more areas: endpoint security, threat hunting, incident response, malware analysis, forensics, pentesting.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and respond to sophisticated security threats and act as escalation point.
• Lead EU SOC team activities, coach analysts, and coordinate daily workload.
• Engage with customers during investigations and security incidents.
