Job description

A lovely family based in Paddington, London, is looking for a Full‑time Nanny to care for their baby permanently. A candidate who speaks French or German would be considered a bonus. They are looking for someone warm, enthusiastic, and truly passionate about working with infants and young children.

The ideal candidate will be nurturing and attentive, with a strong interest in supporting the child’s growth and helping him reach key developmental milestones. A valid first‑aid qualification is a must.

Working hours: Tuesday to Saturday. Ideally, but open to Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., plus babysitting 2 evenings per week.

Duties include:

• Preparing healthy and varied meals for the child
• Organising the child’s daily schedule
• Changing nappies
• Cleaning and sterilising bottles
• Setting up nap routine
• Washing and dressing the child
• Playing with the child
• Tracking the child’s development and updating the parents
• Making sure the child is always safe and happy
• Organising the child’s clothes
• Doing laundry and ironing the child’s clothes
• Ensuring the child’s room is always clean
• Doing occasional grocery shopping for the child’s supplies
