Job summary

Search Consultancy LTD in Wigan is seeking a fluent German-speaking Helpdesk / 1st Line Technical Support Advisor on a permanent basis, offering a salary of up to £30,000 plus an on-call allowance of £4,000.

You will handle inbound and outbound calls and emails from German and English customers, provide 1st line support, manage incidents, escalate when needed, and deliver customer-centric service from our main office in Wigan.

Qualifications

• Fluent English and German language skills.
• Previous experience within a technical support role.
• Affective time management skills with a logical approach to problem solving.
• Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints.
• Ability to manage workload while adapting to changing priorities.
• Ability to work alone as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st line support to all end users globally.
• Incident management and resolution.
• Escalation to Tier 2 when unable to resolve issues.
• Deliver excellent customer service while managing expectations.
• Manage faults, requests and enquiries on behalf of the customer.
