Are you an experienced events professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for driving business success? Our client – a leading conference and events company – is seeking a Team Manager in Events Management to cover a 12-month maternity leave, to start in December. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Team Manager who wants to step into a senior leadership role and progress to Director level, make a real impact, and work with a respected brand in the events industry. Reporting to the UK Managing Director, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of 4.
  • Oversee end-to-end event management, ensuring seamless delivery.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior leaders and clients.
  • Identify and solve challenges quickly, maintaining high standards under pressure.
  • Collaborate with the UK MD and wider leadership team to drive business growth.

About You

  • Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken) to business standards.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a managerial role, within events, conferences, or related industries.
  • Proven ability to lead teams within the events management sector.
  • Confident working with senior stakeholders.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused.
  • Ambitious – this role offers mentoring from the UK MD.
