Job summary

A global client based in Glasgow is looking for a candidate fluent in German and English for a customer service role. This hybrid position requires previous complaint handling experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work within regulatory frameworks. Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a complaint handling role.
  • Experience in liaising with the Financial Ombudsman or other regulatory bodies is desirable.
  • Insurance knowledge is desirable, but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure complaints are identified, investigated and resolved promptly and fairly.
  • Investigate complaints thoroughly, correctly identifying root causes.
  • Write Final Resolution Letters.
  • Meet the company’s Quality and Efficiency Standards.
  • Focus on SLA’s and Regulatory timelines.
  • Manage caseload for your language skills including English.
  • Work to company Standards and Frameworks.
  • Participate in the Training and Competency Framework.

This role would suit someone who has experience in customer service from financial services, but they would also consider candidates from call centre or hospitality.
