German Lecturer (1 Evening per Week) - Further Education Cardiff

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic German Lecturer to join a Further Education setting in Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate linguist to inspire adult learners to develop their German language skills, confidence, and cultural understanding.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive German language lessons to learners aged 16+

  • Teach one evening per week in a supportive and collaborative environment

  • Prepare and deliver structured lesson plans and assessments aligned with course outcomes

  • Support learners of varying abilities to achieve their individual goals

  • Foster an appreciation of German language and culture through interactive teaching

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A degree in German, Modern Foreign Languages, or a related subject

  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, QTLS, or equivalent)

  • Previous experience teaching German to post-16 or adult learners (FE or similar setting preferred)

  • Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills

  • A commitment to creating an inclusive and motivating learning environment
