Qualifications

• Entered onto the GMC register.
• Eligible for inclusion on the GMC specialist register in geriatric medicine.
• Formal tuition and/or qualifications in teaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in clinical activities ensuring high standard patient care.
• Contribute to service management and development.
• Take part in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.

Skills

Enthusiasm for the supervision and teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate medical staff

Comprehensive clinical experience of geriatric and general medicine

Ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively

Experience of telemedicine

Education

CCT in Geriatric Medicine or within 6 months

Possess MRCP or equivalent
