Job Title: Geotechnical Project Engineer

Location: London

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Geotechnical Project Engineer to join a well-established geotechnical contractor in London.

The successful Geotechnical Project Engineer will work across a diverse range of projects, delivering ground investigation and geotechnical works both on site and in the office. Projects will include residential, commercial, and major infrastructure developments.

You will have the opportunity to work for a respected ground investigation contractor who have a strong pipeline of projects coming up in 2026.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Geotechnical Project Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and managing ground investigations
  • Supervising site works and coordinating drilling contractors
  • Producing Phase 1 desk studies and interpretative geotechnical reports
  • Undertaking geotechnical risk assessments
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal design teams
  • Supporting project delivery from tender stage through to completion

You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers while gaining further technical and project management experience through close collaboration with senior and principal engineers.
