A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Offshore Geotechnical Engineer to join a well-established provider of geotechnical solutions within the global offshore energy industry. This role will see you involved in innovative offshore work, focusing on ground investigation activities, geotechnical interpretation, and engineering design-while continuing to build specialist expertise and advance your professional development.

Main Duties of the Geotechnical Engineer role
  • Lead and coordinate offshore ground investigation campaigns
  • Undertake analytical tasks including soil testing, data evaluation, and interpretation
  • Deliver expert technical input to support construction and design decisions
  • Produce clear, detailed documentation and presentations for clients and internal teams
  • Maintain strict safety and quality standards throughout project delivery
Geotechnical Engineers considered will have
  • A degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline
  • Previous offshore geotechnical experience, preferably within the energy industry
  • Practical knowledge of offshore investigation tools and geotechnical software
  • Strong skills in ground modelling, design principles, and site assessment
  • Willingness to work offshore for extended project periods
  • Ability to travel to the Norfolk based office
  • Full UK working rights
  • A valid UK driving licence
