Job summary

AECOM is seeking Geotechnical Engineers/Geologists of all levels to join our Ground Engineering teams across the UK. Bring technical expertise and an innovative mindset to deliver projects for UK&I and international clients.

We value candidates with a solid grounding in geotechnical design, leadership experience, and a willingness to travel across the UK. A clean driving licence is desirable for site work.

Qualifications

• Degree (BSc or MSc) in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, Engineering Geology, or a related field.
• Progress towards Chartered status advantageous but not required.
• Demonstrable understanding of current design codes, standards, and best practices in geotechnical design.
• Proven leadership experience in similar roles with ability to lead teams.
• Willingness to travel throughout the UK.
• Clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ground engineering projects in the UK and Ireland markets.
• Lead project teams and mentor engineers and geologists.
• Ensure compliance with current design codes and industry standards.
• Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver solutions.
