Job summary

Tetra Tech Europe is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer for Glasgow to support a diverse range of infrastructure and energy projects across Scotland and the broader UK. The role involves collaboration within multidisciplinary teams, delivering high-quality geotechnical outputs from feasibility through construction, with opportunities to advance technical expertise.

You will work in a hybrid setup based in Glasgow, engaging with renewable energy, transportation, water, and flood protection schemes

Qualifications

BEng or MEng in Civil Engineering; strong geotechnical knowledge.
Experience in site assessments, ground investigations, interpretation, reporting and design.
Willingness to travel UK and Ireland; UK driving license.

Responsibilities

Assist in site feasibility assessments and supervise ground investigations.
Perform geotechnical interpretation, design development, reporting and construction supervision.
Prepare technical documents: Desk Studies, Ground Investigation Reports, Geotechnical Design Reports and drawings.
Conduct site visits and provide technical support during construction.
Work independently and with multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical engineering solutions.
