Job summary

Stantec is seeking experienced Geotechnical Engineers to join our talent network across the UK. You will work on technically challenging geotechnical investigations and designs, acting as the focal point for geotechnical expertise locally.

Ideal candidates will have a geotechnical or civil engineering degree and Chartered status, with strong ground modelling and reporting skills. We embrace a hybrid working model to support flexible careers and growth across regions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering (BEng, BSc or higher).
• Chartered status with a relevant professional body.
• Proven experience scoping and delivering geotechnical investigations and designs.
• Strong ground modelling and interpretive reporting skills.
• Experience designing a range of geotechnical structures.
• Confidence leading technical delivery and working independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical expertise locally and coordinate a diverse portfolio of projects.
• Contribute to a wide range of geotechnical projects across the UK.
• Deliver high-impact geotechnical investigations and designs.

About You
We’re looking for an experienced and confident geotechnical professional with a strong consultancy background. Ideally, you will have:

• A degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering (BEng, BSc or higher)
• Chartered status with a relevant professional body
• Proven experience scoping and delivering geotechnical investigations and designs
• Strong ground modelling and interpretive reporting skills
• Experience designing a range of geotechnical structures
