Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join a civil and environmental consultancy in Liverpool, offering hands-on site supervision, ground investigation and strong support toward chartership.

You will be mentored by senior engineers, recommended training courses and regular site visits, with a salary band of £30,000 to £40,000 plus pension and healthcare benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geology, Geography, Earth Science or a related field.
• Experience in site supervision and ground investigation.
• Willingness to travel to site and be commutable to Liverpool.

Responsibilities

• Site supervision on projects and reporting outcomes.
• Conduct ground investigations and oversee fieldwork activities.
• Receive mentorship from senior colleagues and apply learnings on site.
• Assist in preparing earthwork specifications and related documentation.
