Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer in Oxfordshire to work on ground investigation projects across the South and Midlands. You will be involved in trial pits, borehole logging, groundwater and gas monitoring, soil sampling, desktop studies and reporting.

You will receive support to chartership and focused career progression, with excellent training and pension benefits. This is a permanent role with a competitive salary and annual reviews.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Geoscience, Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering with a geotechnical focus (MSc preferred).
• Experience in ground investigation, particularly site work proficiency.
• Full and clean UK Driving Licence.
• Right to work in the UK and commutable around Oxfordshire.

A specialist ground investigation consultancy based in Oxfordshire is seeking a geotechnical engineer to join their team on a variety of exciting projects. With support to chartership and focussed career progression, this is a great next step for any experienced engineer or consultant.

The Geotechnical Engineer selected will be working on a range of ground investigation projects across the South and Midlands. You'll be working on trial pits, borehole logging, ground water and gas monitoring, soil sampling, completing desktop studies and writing factual and interpretive reports.

The Geotechnical Engineer selected will be offered:
