Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join a multidisciplinary consultancy in Leicester. You will contribute to a portfolio of contaminated land and ground investigation projects, carrying out desktop studies, site and fieldwork supervision, and reporting within a supportive, developing team.

You should have a degree in environmental science, civil or geotechnical engineering, a clean UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.

As a Geotechnical Engineer, your work will include Phase 1 desktop studies, Phase 2 investigations and assessments, site and fieldwork supervision, factual and interpretive reporting, report review, project management and coordinating team activities.

About you

For the Geotechnical Engineer position, you should have relevant experience within geoenvironmental consultancy or engineering, alongside strong technical report-writing skills. A degree in environmental science, civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, engineering geology or a related discipline is required.

You’ll also need a clean, valid UK driving licence, full UK right to work and the ability to commute to Leicester.
