The successful Geotechnical Engineer will have the exciting opportunity to work on a wide range and scale of projects. These projects will range from former gas works to mining investigation and infrastructure.

The role of the Geotechnical Engineer will involve the following responsibilities: soil sampling, risk assessments, phase 1 reports, phase 2 interpretative reports, geotechnical site investigation, slope stability assessments. You will be trained up by talented Senior Engineering Geologists and working alongside Graduates. You will have the chance to mentor and train Graduates on site work.

Essential Criteria:

  • Hold a degree in Geology/Geotechnical Engineering/Geoscience
  • Live within a commutable distance from the Exeter office
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Full working rights to work in the UK
  • Phase 1 factual report writing skills
  • 1 years’ experience within ground investigation or relevant background
