An expanding Environmental Consultancy in Derby are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join the team on a variety of specialist ground investigation projects around the Derbyshire area. With specialist training and plenty of new and exciting geotechnical and geo-environmental projects to work on, the position offers excellent career progression prosects.

The Geotechnical Engineer selected will be:

  • Contributing to and carrying out site investigations.
  • Carrying out contaminated land risk assessments and Phase 1 Desktop Studies.
  • Writing and reviewing factual and interpretive reports.
  • Groundwater and gas monitoring.
  • Liaising closely with clients and supervising investigations.

This Geotechnical Engineer role requires you to have experience as a geotechnical/geo-environmental engineer or consultant. You must have a degree in geology, geoscience, environmental engineering or geotechnical engineering, hold a clean and valid UK Driving licence and live near Derby. A full right to work in the UK is also essential.
