Job summary

A major transport authority in Wales is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to lead policies for drainage and geotechnical works. The successful candidate will manage asset policies, oversee proposals, and contribute to strategic asset management. Qualifications

  • Masters or postgraduate qualified and working towards Chartership in Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Demonstrable experience in the rail or transport industry.
  • Experience in a design or project assurance role.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for asset policy for geotechnical and drainage works.
  • Provide governance for renewal and enhancement proposals for engineering works.
  • Review and advise on the Infrastructure Managers annual renewals plan.
