A leading technology consulting firm in London seeks a Geospatial Data Architect to lead the development of high-performance geospatial data solutions. This role involves collaboration with stakeholders, technical leadership, and innovation in data delivery. Candidates should have expertise in SQL, cloud environments, and geospatial tools. The position offers a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and a hybrid work model.
To thrive in this role, you'll bring deep technical experience in geospatial data systems, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and a forward-thinking mindset. You're motivated by solving real-world problems with data, and eager to shape the future of geospatial delivery.
At CGI, we harness the transformative power of geospatial technology to drive industry change, improve public services, and deliver high-impact commercial solutions. As a Geospatial Data Architect, you'll take a lead role in designing innovative data-driven solutions that turn location intelligence into strategic value. Working at the intersection of architecture and insight, you'll collaborate with clients and cross‑functional teams to shape scalable systems that manage and optimise geospatial data with precision and purpose.
CGI was recognised in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work List 2025 and has been named one of the Best Employers by the Financial Times. We offer a competitive salary, excellent pension, private healthcare, plus a share scheme (3.5% + 3.5% matching), making you a CGI Partner, not just an employee. We proudly support the Armed Forces and hold a Gold Award under the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant.
This is a hybrid working pattern role and you may need to travel occasionally within the UK as needed – ideally you will be based within a commutable distance to one of the following CGI offices: London, Bristol, Birmingham, Reading, or Glasgow, but we will consider candidates from any UK location. All applicants must hold or be prepared to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV) to Security Check (SC) level as a minimum.
In this role, you'll architect geospatial data systems that underpin mission‑critical services and emerging digital solutions. From shaping client platforms to contributing to CGI's geospatial product roadmap, your work will drive data integrity, performance, and innovation across industries. You'll be empowered to lead from the front‑turning complex challenges into elegant data architectures that deliver lasting value.
Life at CGI is rooted in ownership, teamwork, respect and belonging. Here, you'll reach your full potential because… You are invited to be an owner from day 1 as we work together to bring our Dream to life. That's why we call ourselves CGI Partners rather than employees. We benefit from our collective success and actively shape our company's strategy and direction. Your work creates value. You'll develop innovative solutions and build relationships with teammates and clients while accessing global capabilities to scale your ideas, embrace new opportunities, and benefit from expansive industry and technology expertise. You'll shape your career by joining a company built to grow and last. You'll be supported by leaders who care about your health and well-being and provide you with opportunities to deepen your skills and broaden your horizons. Come join our team‑one of the largest IT and business consulting services firms in the world.
