The Opportunity

As part of our continued investment in digital delivery across the natural and built environment, we are looking for an experienced Geospatial Analyst to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will support geospatial analysis, visualisation and information management, helping consultants, designers and engineers confidently access, understand and apply geospatial data at project scale.

At Arup, you belong to an extraordinary collective – in which we encourage individuality to thrive. Our strength comes from how we respect, share and connect our diverse experiences, perspectives and ideas.

You will have the opportunity do socially useful work that has meaning – to Arup, to your career, to our members and to the clients and communities we serve.

Is this role right for you?

We’d like to hear from you if:

  • You hold a relevant undergraduate or master’s degree (GIS, Remote Sensing/Earth Observation, Geography, Geoinformatics or Environmental Science) or bring equivalent industry experience with evidence of professional growth and continuous learning.
  • You have experience using geospatial applications such as ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, ArcGIS Enterprise or ArcGIS Online.
  • You can create spatial models, manage spatial datasets and produce clear visualisations using tools such as Esri Experience Builder or Power BI.
  • You are confident working with automation, scripting or spatial data management tools such as ModelBuilder, FME, Python, SQL Server or PostgreSQL/PostGIS.
  • You can translate business or engineering needs into meaningful maps and spatial insights, with strong communication, collaboration and project management skills.

***Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK at the time of application and for the duration of employment. Any offer made will be subject to satisfactory proof of immigration status.***

We also provide Private medical insurance, Life assurance, Accident insurance and Income protection cover.
