Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Geophysicist for a permanent role in Swindon. You will plan and deliver onshore and offshore surveys, process and interpret geophysical data, and develop ground models across diverse projects.

Ideal candidates hold a Geophysics or related degree, with survey/data interpretation experience and strong reporting and communication skills, plus a UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.

As a Geophysicist, you will be involved in planning and delivering onshore and offshore geophysical surveys, processing and interpreting geophysical and geospatial data, developing ground models, producing technical reports and supporting a variety of multidisciplinary projects. This Geophysicist position offers the opportunity to work with advanced survey technologies while contributing to technically challenging and rewarding projects.

To be considered for this Geophysicist role, you will need:

• A degree in Geophysics, Geoscience, Earth Sciences or a related discipline
• Experience in geophysical surveying, data processing or interpretation
• Strong technical reporting and communication skills
• A full UK driving licence
• Full right to work in the UK
• To live in or within a reasonable commuting distance of Swindon
• Willingness to travel as projects require
