Tormead School is an academically selective independent school for 800 girls aged 4-18, located in central Guildford.
We are seeking an outstanding Geography Teacher to support or with an opportunity to lead our thriving, supportive and successful Geography department. Geography is a popular subject at iGCSE and A Level. The department has a strong track record of success and has achieved excellent results. The Geography Lead has overall responsibility for leading the department and ensuring high standards of teaching, learning and achievement, and the creative development of the Geography Curriculum at Tormead.
This is an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified, creative and inspirational Teacher of Geography. The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for geography and a desire to inspire this in others. Candidates will have a firm grasp of curricular developments, inspire high standards in the classroom, have a warm approach, and will show enthusiasm for wider involvement in the School's rich co-curricular programme.
