Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher for a full-time role in Liverpool, starting immediately and running until Easter 2027. You will deliver Geography across KS3/KS4, assess progress, and contribute to a supportive department.

The ideal candidate holds QTS (or equivalent) with KS3/KS4 experience, strong classroom management, and a passion for geography. DBS Update Service or willingness to apply is expected; right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent required.
• Experience teaching Geography at KS3/KS4.
• Strong classroom management and subject knowledge.
• Passion for Geography and ability to inspire students.
• DBS registered on Update Service or willing to apply.
• Full 10-year career history.
• Two professional references.
• Legal right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, well-planned Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Inspire students to develop knowledge of geographical concepts and issues.
• Plan and deliver lessons covering physical and human Geography topics.
• Assess, monitor and support student progress to maximise achievement.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment for all students.
• Prepare students for GCSE Geography where appropriate.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high teaching standards.
