Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is working with a high-performing secondary school in Southwark to appoint an enthusiastic Geography Teacher from September 2026. The role welcomes both experienced teachers and an Early Career Geography Teacher (ECT).

You will deliver high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the option to teach KS5 where appropriate, and contribute to a supportive department committed to student achievement and staff wellbeing.

Qualifications

• QTS required.
• Experience teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4.
• KS5 teaching is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured Geography lessons.
• Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 where appropriate.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to support achievement.
• Create an inclusive and positive classroom environment.
• Differentiate to meet diverse learner needs.
• Contribute to departmental and school-wide initiatives.
