Location: Hull
Salary: M1 to UPS3 (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate or January 2026

Key Responsibilities of the Geography Teacher:
  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages.
  • Encourage students to explore physical and human geography through interactive and thought-provoking activities.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes geographical inquiry.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Humanities curriculum and raise attainment.
Requirements for the Geography Teacher role:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Geography in school settings.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to make learning relevant and exciting.
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
  • A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
