About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join our successful Humanities department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Geography and the ability to inspire curiosity about the world around us. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality lessons that engage students and foster a love of learning from Key Stage 3 through to Key Stage 5 (if applicable).

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess, record, and report on students' progress and attainment.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning.
  • Create a stimulating classroom environment that supports all learners.
  • Participate in wider school activities, including field trips and enrichment opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote the school's values and academic standards.
Person Specification

Essential:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Geography or a related subject.
  • Strong subject knowledge and understanding of curriculum requirements.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.

Desirable:
