Job summary

AQA is seeking a Subject Support Manager for Geography in the UK. Based in Manchester with hybrid working and regular national travel, you will support teachers, strengthen subject delivery and influence the direction of Geography education across GCSE and A-level.

You will answer centre queries, deliver Curriculum Connects sessions, analyse data to identify where centres need help, and represent AQA at conferences.

Qualifications

• Geography knowledge and curriculum understanding.
• Experience presenting to teachers or at conferences.
• Data analysis to identify training needs.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Represent AQA and convey key subject messages to external audiences.
• Support schools, centres and teachers with Geography queries and plan deliveries.
• Deliver Curriculum Connects sessions and analyse data to identify centres needing support.
• Build relationships with subject stakeholders to inform future developments.
• Travel nationally to represent AQA at conferences and events.
