Job summary
SLR Consulting in Leeds is expanding its Land Quality team to meet ongoing demand across built environment, industry, infrastructure and energy sectors.
The role involves undertaking and managing site tasks, fieldwork and data handling, and assisting in preparing client reports.
Candidates should have a degree in geology or related discipline, experience in geo-environmental investigations, and be willing to travel UK site visits.
Qualifications
- Experience in geo-environmental site investigations and reporting.
- Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geoscience, Earth Sciences or related discipline.
- Experience managing fieldwork and coordinating site investigation contractors.
- Knowledge of contaminated land and geo-environmental assessment practices.
- Strong data analysis, interpretation and technical reporting skills.
- Understanding of health and safety requirements for site-based work.
- A driving licence that permits you to legally drive in the UK, as regular site visits will be required.
Responsibilities
- Undertake and manage project tasks, fieldwork and data manipulation.
- Assist in preparing reports to provide advice to clients.
- Coordinate site investigation activities and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements on site.
