Job summary

Ecologia (part of the RSK Group) in Sittingbourne, Kent, seeks a Geo-Environmental Consultant/Project Manager with a proven track record in contaminated land projects. You will manage multiple projects, deliver detailed technical reports, and maintain strong client and regulator communications.

A degree in a relevant field is required, with Masters preferred and substantial experience in site investigations across the South of England.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in an appropriate discipline (ideally with a relevant Masters).
• At least 6 years’ geo-environmental consultancy experience.
• Chartership or professional qualification not mandatory but beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver multiple projects concurrently, on time and within budget.
• Prepare factual geo-environmental and interpretative reports (Desk Studies, Phase II investigations, remediation strategies).
• Communicate effectively with clients and regulators; ensure clear documentation.
• Demonstrate site work competency with health and safety awareness.
• Mentor junior staff and assist with proposals and tenders.
