Penguin Recruitment is seeking a Geo-environmental Engineer in Middlesbrough to join a geotechnical consultancy. The role blends site supervision with interpretive report writing, contributing to a wide range of contaminated land projects.

You will be part of a ground investigation team, with activities split between site visits and office work, supporting seniors on diverse projects and reports.

Qualifications

• Geology degree and strong geology background required.
• Experience with contaminated land projects beneficial.
• Full UK driving licence mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits and office-based interpretation of results.
• Develop and write interpretive environmental reports for projects.
• Collaborate with ground investigation team across Phase 1–4 works.
