Job summary

Ridge & Partners Llp seeks a Geo-Environmental Consultant to deliver ground investigations, geotechnical and environmental projects from planning through reporting. You will work with clients and project teams, developing technical and professional expertise.

The role involves planning, site visits, data interpretation and report preparation, with opportunities to grow in a growing geo-environmental and geotechnical consultancy. Travel to sites and client liaison are expected.

Qualifications

• BSc in Geology, Environmental Science, Geotechnical Engineering, Earth Sciences or related field.
• Experience in geo-environmental, geotechnical or related consultancy.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites.
• Strong report writing, data interpretation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage workload within project budgets and timescales.

Responsibilities

The Role

As a Geo-Environmental Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering projects from investigation through to reporting and construction support. You will work closely with clients, contractors and project teams while developing your technical and professional expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, supervision and reporting of ground investigations.
• Undertake geo-environmental and geotechnical assessments, including the interpretation of ground investigation data.
• Prepare technical reports, risk assessments, and factual and interpretative deliverables.

About You

You will have:

• Experience within a geo-environmental, geotechnical or related consultancy role.
