Job summary

A leading environmental consultancy in Glasgow is seeking a project manager to oversee site characterisation for contaminated land. Responsibilities include managing soil and water analysis, supervising contractors, and preparing reports. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a related field and experience in site supervision and data management. Salary is circa £35,000 - £42,000 depending on experience, plus benefits.

Qualifications

  • Experience in site supervision and data handling.
  • Experience in managing site works and appropriate sampling techniques.
  • Working towards or attained MSc or Chartered status is desirable.

  • Designing, programming, and implementing cost control for site investigations and remediation.

  • Technical author and reviewer for proposals and interpretative reports.

  • Site supervision and management of contractors.

  • Preparation of comprehensive remediation verification reports.

  • Negotiating and obtaining necessary approvals from regulatory authorities.



Your Qualifications


  • Degree in chemistry, geology, environmental science, or civil engineering, or a closely related subject.

  • Experience in site supervision, data handling, and technical report writing.

  • Able to show experience of managing site works, appropriate sampling techniques and logging soils / rocks to current British Standards

  • Working towards or attained MSc or Chartered status in an appropriate discipline is desirable.



Salary

Circ £35,000 - £42,000 dependant on experience & level plus packagE
